Pricey Nicey this one. It was £38.50 of this Skin Illuminator. Had I taken leave of my senses? Possibly. But it looks sooo pretty. And you should hear the stuff Charlotte Tilbury herself has to say about her Wonderglow-
“powered by a breakthrough Fluorescent Core Light Diffuser that cleverly steals UV light from its surroundings and re-emits it as skin luminosity to disguise and transform drab, sleep-deprived skin. WONDERGLOW is a visionary new anti-age hybrid. It’s a cross between an anti-age elixir and a complexion-enhancing light diffuser to give your skin an instant “spotlight” effect. Collagen-boosting peptides and patented wrinkle-preventing ingredients are fused with light-reflecting microspheres with a fluorescent core that fill in wrinkles and scatter light to blur away lines and flood skin with luminosity.”
Flipping Hell that sounds good!
It’s a light silky golden fluid with a pleasant scent.
Here’s the WonderStuff on before foundation-
Am I “flooded with luminosity”? Maybe a bit flooded?
Here’s it over foundation-
I had to be careful, it’s so fluid it tends to remove said foundation. I sort of blotted it on with a sponge. It looks nice- a little glow.
To summerise, I don’t think it delivers on its wild promises, while being very nice, at that price you’d expect your socks blown off. You can get highlighters for £3 that are perfectly good (MUA Undress Your Skin £3 from Superdrug, I’m looking at you).
Sorry I’m not able to sing praise, Charlotte Tilbury WonderGlow Illuminator gets only 5/10 I’m afraid x
It a shame that it wasn’t as good as you hoped, I just followed your blog and would love for you to follow mine https://paigerebeccax.wordpress.com/ 💕
